We offer free shipping in most states, but the threshold depends on your location.
Free shipping thresholds by zone:
- Light blue states: free shipping over $175
- Dark blue states: free shipping over $250
- Alaska & Hawaii: free shipping is not available
If your order is below the free shipping minimum:
- Ground orders: $30 shipping fee
- Express orders: $45 shipping fee
Important exclusions
The following items ship separately and include their own shipping fee, and therefore are not included in the free shipping order minimum:
- Eggs
- Produce Boxes
- Build Your Own Broth Box
- Build Your Own Pantry Box
- Build Your Own Flour Box
- Build Your Own Cheese Box
- Build Your Own Sourdough Box
This is because each requires its own dedicated packaging and shipping method.
Why isn’t shipping always free?
Shipping frozen and perishable food is expensive. Packaging, insulation, ice packs, dry ice, and carrier rates all add real cost. We do our best to keep shipping as reasonable as possible while still making sure your order arrives safely. We encourage larger orders with free shipping minimums to help cut down on some of these expenses.
